Is Colace Safe During Pregnancy?

Constipation during pregnancy is a common discomfort women experience.  It can be corrected by taking Colace. 

Usually known as the generic name docusate or docusate sodium. Colace during pregnancy is stool softeners and is considered safe during pregnancy. 

 Pregnancy constipation can be stubborn and uncomfortable taking Colace will help moisten the stool and make it easier to pass.

At the moment, taking Colace during pregnancy does not pose any serious threats for the baby.
