  • Constipation due to diet: Stay away from refined flour products that are hard to digest.
  • Constipation due to iron supplements: Another common constipation issue is due to iron supplements.  The iron supplements are hard to absorb in the digestive system causing constipation.

There are many natural remedies you can take to relive constipation during pregnancy.

  • Increase your protein amount.
  • All your meal should be high in fiber.
  • Eat more vegetables.
  • Make sure to take your daily consumption of calcium.
  • Your diet should include all healthy fats such as:
  • Saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats.
  • Drink lukewarm water with lemon every day to smoother bowel movement.
  • Exercises regular it helps with bowel motility.
  • Drink plenty of liquids.
